Our Security Policy

On October 10, 2008, the United States Customs Border Protection (CBP) certified Viconics Technologies Inc. as a C-TPAT partner.  

C-TPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) is a joint U.S. government-to-business initiative to build cooperative relationships that strengthens overall supply-chain and border security. C-TPAT certification provides a smoother material flow at US borders for Viconics and assures a continued flow of goods in conditions of national emergencies.  

C-TPAT member’s benefit with less inspection at US borders than non-C-TPAT members, thus providing customers with less interruptions of their supply chains. Furthermore, CBP commits to provide a secure entry process marked by the efficient release of goods and prompt resolution of CBP issues, which results in a facilitation of trade moving into the United Sates.  

In our present climate of uncertainty, this milestone provides our customers with one less element to be concerned with - interruption of their supply-chain in the event of a national emergency.
