Viconics exhibiting at the NFM&T 2011 trade show event
Viconics Inc. has just recently returned from having exhibited at this years NFM&T show which took place in Baltimore, Maryland. The NFM&T exposition had a great turnout and presented us with the unique opportunity of meeting with: commercial building owners, facility managers, maintenance engineers, and directors of: sustainability, planning, and operations.
Viconics really valued having the chance to present what makes our technology so crucial to the successes of national facility managers seeking to upgrade their buildings. Viconics offers the benefits of energy savings, lowered operating costs and optimal occupant comfort. We pride ourselves on giving facility managers the ability to accomplish control retrofit projects with minimal disruption to their clients businesses, along with significantly reduced installation costs. Viconics wall mounted controls cut down on the installation budget by providing out of the box functionality typically found in advanced ddc-type controllers accompanied by the fact that they are extremely easy to: set up, commission and do not require any additional tools, components nor specialized labor.
This year’s NFM&T show gave us the chance to show why our technology presents an excellent opportunity to accomplish easy, achievable and effective retrofits in commercial buildings: the key is being able to supply people with controls that offer an accelerated rate of return on investments from the overall project delivery costs. We have truly flexible control solutions and have made them available in a variety of the most commonly used open protocols: BACnet®, Lontalk®, Wireless Zigbee® and Network-Ready. For those of you who are not familiar with the term “Network-Ready” it refers to your ability to future upgrade a standalone wall mounted Viconics control to include a communication module that can be seamlessly integrated and used in conjunction with building automation systems.
