How can I synchronize the time between the workstation and the VT7600 LON thermostat with Niagara AX front end?

To send the local workstation time to the VT7600 series (or T7600, the older version) Lon thermostats, you have to use the “LonTime” utility inside the “KitLon” palette. Here are the steps to do that:

1. Drag the “LonTime” utility to the thermostat’s wire sheet
2. Right click and select “Compose” from the menu.
3. In the new window, in the tree on the left, expand “LonTime” then expand “Time Stamp”. Select “year”, “month”, “day”, “hour”, “minute” and “second” and click the “Add” button.
4. The points will be added as inputs. Click the “Reverse” button so they become outputs. You will see the change in the “Direction” column.
5. Click Ok and you’ll see these cells added to the functional block.
6. Link these outputs to the same properties of nviTimeSet (year to year, month to month, etc…). You have to link all 6 properties.
