Viconics is ISO9001:2000 registered and ISO14001 compliant. Our flexible manufacturing allows us to manufacture standard, custom and private labeled products on a build-to-order basis. Our manufacturing facilities feature job tracking bar coding. Equipment include semi-automatic screen printer, LSM Microscope, automated SMT pick-and-place machine, IR reflow oven, wave-soldering machine, computer-controlled testers for product verification, configuration and calibration and laser engraver.

Viconics has a strong commitment to research and development and over the years has built up expertise in the many areas of HVAC control.

Electric Heat: We have developed advanced PI PWM controls of most electric heating applications. We offer a full line of SSR and SCR power controllers up to 600V, 75A for single and three phase applications as well as staging and vernier power controls. Our R842 hybrid power relay for baseboard application our the first 1 million cycle rated product.

Humidity: We have humidity control and transmitter design experience with most of the commercially available sensors on market today in both clean and corrosive applications. We have designed and operate a fully automated, NIST traceable humidity calibration chamber for sensor and product calibration. We have developed advanced system, control, linearization, transmitter and limit embedded algorithms.

Heat Pump Controls: We have developed several generations of residential heatpump system controls with advanced features, diagnostics and RH control. Viconics extensive experience with outdoor and corrosive environments and has developed a number of swimming pool/spa heat pump controls as well as indoor control of swimming pool environmental system ( RH, pool, spa, A/C, heat, ventilation etc.)

Thermostats: We have developed precise embedded multi-stage, multi-output, multi-type, multi-mode PI control algorithms. Our latest generation combines modular design, easy-of-use, flexibility, programmability and networking capability ( Echelon ) for control of rooftops and heat pumps.

VAV: We have developed advanced precise motor control algorithms that maximize life by minimizing motor movements for motorized damper and zone valves. We have designed several generations of multi-staged PI zoning controls with analog communication. Modulating damper controls

Other Controls: Viconics has also developed a wide range of standard and custom controls including industrial PID temperature and process controls and indicators, refrigeration alarms, time-temperature commercial cooking controls, hydronic energy metering and control system, boiler step controller.
