VK 7300 Series Multi-Voltage (110-277VAC) Fan Coil Controller Kit
The VK7300 series controller kit represent yet another milestone in the reduction of total installed cost for both control-only retrofits and new construction control projects.
Applying traditional control solutions to fan coils has generally been a very expensive proposition, from both an installation and service perspective. Typical installations require mounting of the controller, pilot relays, transformer and general wiring within the factory or field mounted control enclosure.
The Viconics VK7300 solution requires the installation of only 2 components: The VTR73000 wall device and the VC7300 equipment controller. The VTR wall device and VC equipment controller are linked via a 3 wire local bus, allowing existing thermostat to fancoil wiring and infrastructure can be reutilized, thereby reducing cost, labor and installation time required for retrofit projects.
The VC equipment controller features an onboard universal voltage power supply and inductive rated line voltage relays to drive fractional horsepower fan motors and valves directly. This eliminates the need for pilot relays, and low voltage transformer installation and wiring. In addition, the VC is available with optional monitoring inputs allowing for “most-used” equipment monitoring such as fan, filter status, and air temperature monitoring. It is also supplied with standard auxiliary relay output which may be utilized to control local electric re-heat or a scheduled piece of equipment or it may be used as a spare networked I/O.
The VTR wall device features a digital display with built-in commissioning and configuration utility, temperature sensor as well as optional humidity and PIR motion sensors. The wall device may support multiple equipment interface units allowing for master/slave arrangements further reducing cost.
The VTR wall devices are available as either stand-alone or with built-in communication interface to provide building automation solutions which will integrate with BACnet MS/TP, Lontalk or using the Viconics Wireless Mesh Control Network to BACnet/IP.
Features:
- Use to easily retrofit existing high voltage fan coils!
- Optional Network interface available in BACnet, Lontalk or Wireless Mesh.
- Available with monitoring inputs for “most used” functions like filter status, fan status and discharge air temperature.
- Available with factory installed and/or ready to receive onboard motion detector cover (PIR)
- All “most used” hospitality sequences (Door switch, window etc) pre-programmed.
- Unique, embedded “real-text “configuration utility eliminates the need for laptops.
